Membrane Softened by Residue
Oils, fats and chemical vapor settling around exhaust fans and process stacks attack sheets that were never rated for them. The membrane swells, turns gummy or cracks in a ring around the curb, and seams nearby let go before the rest of the field.
Usually Means: Replace that area with a sheet rated for the exposure.
